When moving you must first look at this...

Do's

  • We require our customers to print, initial and sign our booking order that we email to them. We would like them to read the actual info we put in our booking order.
  • Before the actual move date we verify the validity of the details and to inquire about any possible changes that may influence the price.
  • Customer will get a call the day before teh actual move to confirm the arrival time
  • Salespeople can be pushy with a cookie cutter approach.
  • Manager, dispatch, and all kinds of middle personnel that know nothing about your case. Supervisor that was not present on the initial communication will determine your faith and final result
  • Info is given per demand and the need to which is determined by the salesperson/coordinator you are talking to and his need to get his commission by booking you.
  • Most jobs books over the phone with a list of items that the customer is providing. Customers are not movers and connot assess accurately all the items and needs of a move.
  • Customers will get a generic 7 to 21 busines day estimated delivery date from the desired delivery date. This causes a lot of hardship and unexpected expenses.
  • Some companies charge by weight. Weight can only be assessed the day of the actual move. Weigth minimums and final weights can be very expensive.
  • Many companies don't require a signature at all and in some cases customers don't even get the booking orders.
  • Most companies don't do this which can make a client very unhappy on the day of teh move and most likely will result in a very steep price change.
  • Customers don't get to know the name of the driver that is coming and how many movers will show up. Many times they will be rushed because the timing was not correct.
